Throughout my 5 years as a psychotherapist (RCC), I have enjoyed working with clients from all walks of life.Generally, I focus on working with children, adolescents and adults in need of support with personal growth, relationship difficulties, emotional dysregulation, and healing.
By taking a strengths-based approach, I strive to guide my clients as they work through challenges fueled byanxiety, OCD, stress, depression, low self-esteem, past trauma, and ADHD, as well as by family discord, decision-making, goal-setting, and life transitions. I employ several techniques including cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), action and commitment therapy (ACT), and emotion focused therapy (EFT).When working with children, I tend to draw from my extensive career as an educator. To support the expansion of young clients’ biopsychosocial development and emotional literacy, while creating a sense of safety in the therapeutic space, I often employ child-centered projects and activities involving dramatic play, social stories, and creative art.

Hi, I'm Annie. I help teens and adults experiencing challenges related to ADHD, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), depression, or anxiety. I help my clients by providing a supportive, non-judgmental space to learn the skills required to help them better cope with ADHD or anxiety-related issues; this can include emotion regulation and interpersonal effectiveness training, distress tolerance skills, mindfulness, and strategies to build confidence.
My training is focused in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT); both evidence-backed approaches. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, flexible, and non-judgmental, recognizing that every individual has a unique story and most importantly, unique personal strengths! I tailor my therapy to each client’s specific needs and goals, ensuring a supportive space for individuals to build their confidence, increase self-awareness, and see positive, meaningful change.
